Daily Bible Reading Guide

Through The Bible In A Year

The order in which the schedule lists the books is not the order in which the occur in the Bible, but is a chronological arrangement. The poetic and prophetic books of the Old Testament are inserted in the historical books at about the point in the narrative where they are thought to have been written. In like manner the epistles of the New Testament are inserted in the narrative of the books of Acts. While there is some difference of opinion as to details, the chronological arrangement used here is acceptable to leading conservative Bible scholars.
